New contract for 5.850t of Cryogenic Steel X7Ni9 in China

Lianyungang Petrochemical Co., Ltd awarded Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH through Salzgitter Mannesmann International GmbH with the supply of 5.850t of 9% Nickel plates in X7Ni9 for three cryogenic tanks. The contract includes production of cryogenic 9% Nickel plates, welding edge preparation by mechanical milling and rolling to radius of tank shell plates. The tanks will be used for the new hydrocarbon complex of Lianyungang to store feedstock for two ethylene crackers.

Lianyungang Petrochemical Co., Ltd is located in one of the seven National – Level Petrochemical Industrial Bases – XuWei District, Lianyungang Port, Jiangsu Province. The company is constructing a light hydrocarbon comprehensive processing and utilization project with more than RMB30 billions of total investment and 3.2 million Mt/y total products in different phases.
