Empowering women for equality and diversity

The promotion of women is becoming increasingly important. Demographic change and the need for skilled labour are not the only reasons for addressing this issue; it is about further developing the potential of the female workforce and using it to create value on the way to an equal and diverse working environment.

Do women really have equal rights in the workplace? How important is the issue of family friendliness? What can we do to become a more attractive employer for everyone? These and many other questions form the basis of the Women's Empowerment Initiative, which is being driven forward at various levels with management, executives and employees.

Following an initial assessment carried out in direct dialogue with management, executives and female employees, concrete measures and action steps have already been identified to complement the existing range of support for female employees. The creation of a women's network to share experiences and provide mutual support is a key driver of the change process. In addition, a special training programme aimed specifically at women provides training and personal development.
