- Ilsenburger Grobblech Supports Four Students Through the Germany Scholarship Programme for the First Time
- Two scholarship recipients have already started at TU Bergakademie Freiberg in the summer semester
We are investing in the skilled professionals of tomorrow: Since this year, ILG has been supporting a total of four students at two renowned technical universities through the Germany Scholarship Programme (Deutschlandstipendium) – TU Bergakademie Freiberg and Clausthal University of Technology. While funding at TU Bergakademie Freiberg already began in the summer semester, support at Clausthal University of Technology will start with the upcoming winter semester.

The Germany Scholarship Programme is one of the largest student funding initiatives in Germany. It provides high-achieving and committed students with a monthly scholarship of €300, financed equally by the German federal government and private sponsors. In addition to academic excellence, the programme also takes into account social commitment, a sense of responsibility, and outstanding personal achievements.
For ILG, participation in the Germany Scholarship Programme is about more than financial support. We aim to accompany talented young people on their academic journey, provide early insights into practical industry experience, and strengthen relationships with the skilled professionals of tomorrow. The programme creates valuable opportunities to connect universities and businesses and to develop future-oriented perspectives together.
The first scholarship recipients have already been selected. At TU Bergakademie Freiberg, we are currently supporting Gertrud Köhler and Saeed Saheli, both students in the field of Materials Science and Materials Engineering. We are delighted to accompany them as part of the Germany Scholarship Programme and warmly congratulate them on this special achievement.
