We have supplied heavy plate in the thickness range 8 - 130 mm and grade range S235 - S355 NL to various producers of wind turbine generator systems. Our customers include such renowned companies as VESTAS Wind Systems A/S, Siemens Windpower, SAM Magdeburg (Enercon) etc. A large proportion of the heavy plate is processed in the production facilities of Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH into blanks for foundations, support structures and other components for wind turbine generator systems. Approx. 5,500 towers, with a volume of approx. 660,000 to., have been constructed for wind turbine generator systems. These towers amount to an installed wattage of about 8250 MW.

Roughly eight million households can be supplied with electricity by these towers!
