Kertih Centralised Tankage Facility

In 1998 the company Uhde received an order to produce two double-walled flat-bottom tanks with an outer diameter of approx. 45 m for the Kertih Centralized Tankage Facility in Malaysia. These tanks, which are frequently also called open cups, are for the purpose of storing liquid ammonia. Each of the tanks can hold 25,000 to., which is equivalent to roughly 36,700 m³. The tanks were completed in 1999.
