The Second Strelasund Crossing (Germany)

In future the second Strelasund crossing will be the longest road bridge in Germany. The heart of the crossing is a bridge structure consisting of six substructures, which will connect the islands of Rügen, near to Altefähr, with Stralsund on the mainland. Two traffic lanes and, depending on the traffic situation, a 3rd traffic lane our planned to run parallel to the existing Rügen causeway. The Ziegelgraben Bridge will be particularly impressive.
