The Salman Oil & Gasfield Development Project (Iran)

The expertise of the company Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH in the field of piping plates was able to be proven on the Salman Oil Gasfield Integrated Development Project. Among other things this project comprises the Iranian Salman field, which is located in the Persian Gulf. Between 2003 and 2004 ILG supplied approx. 35,000 to. of plate grade X60 acid gas to the Indian company Welspun Gujarat Steel Pipes Ltd. From this material this company fabricated the piping that forms the basis for a pipeline that is 247 km in length. The final designation of this pipeline was the Sour Service Offshore Gaspipeline.
