System Presses (Italy)

The company System from Italy has already purchased grade S890 and S690 materials from Ilsenburg. With two exceptions, these were normal plates, 120 mm thick, ex water basins. These exceptions were plates, fired in accordance with SYSTEM stipulations, which were joined together on site to form a new type of tile press.

At the moment six presses of this type exist in the whole world, made 100% of ILG plates. Four of these presses are in the production buildings of System in Fiorano, one in Alicante/Spain and another in Turkey in the vicinity of Izmir. At present these presses operate at a pressure of 15,000 tons.
